It was recent) said during a speech, about thanking someone (VP Pence?) for the swift military action -- and the wording seemed to indicate that it had already occurred.

Like other issues in this timeline, I will believe it when I see it. Ellen Degenerate was supposedly under house arrest; now she's back on her TV show. Tom Hanks was supposedly captured and under arrest; now he's back to making movies and doing TV appearances. You can go on and on down the list. Schumer, Pelosi, etc etc etc.
