Often NG troops will deploy with AD c9ubterparts and will be awarded SSIFWTS for the Active component. Have any of the guard sent to the capitol previously deployed with 10 Mountain, they would have the 10th Mountain Crossed Swords patch on their right arm.

Im not sure if any NG have 10th mountain cross swords patches.
Its unlikely they would as a unit insignia, but they could wear it if they deployed with the 10th Mountain previously.
Right side should be deployment patch. When i deployed we were attached to an Airforce security forces unit, since AF doesn't have unit patches like Army, we were authorized the Nato NTM-A patch.
I have serious disgusts with the way the company i deployed with was ran, so I opted to wear the Nato patch there after.
My post wasn't that the left side current unit patch would be 10 Mnt, but the deployment patch w9uld be. Realistically I'm probably way off and wrong about this big guess, but i always think something that pops into my head may be a piece that helps put the puzzle together.
