I keep denying my android update. It now has a force install if you deny it too much. I have until January 18th before they force vaccinate my phone.

Upside to android over apple is Google leaves it to vendors to make and push updates. And they ate notoriously slow, overall. Now, if you use a pixel or Google made phone, you get the updates directly from Google who also sends those first before other vendors get it. Plus, turn off all auto updates, obv

Depends on the brand of Android.

You can turn them off. Might have to be in developer mode. Search around for articles or videos
