Bingo -They bought troops in from other states !
Yes, there is no way a Governor from, say, Wyoming, can tell NG in Washington DC what to do. That's ridiculous.
It's the same a General at Fort Lewis can't tell his troops who are deployed in Afghanistan what to do.
So the real questions is, once they've been Federalized for a federal mission, especially in a national emergency, if they go somewhere else do they revert command to the local theatre or stay under the POTUS?
so is this saying all the NG troops there are actually there to prevent us and not for what we think? im confused
