I think Dave Grohl has a bigger connection than we probably realize. I think this based on his subsequent success. I assume that was not accident, it was part of the plan. I think once Kurt got off heroine he started to change the CIA didn't like. Maybe Kurt also had second thoughts about what he had gotten himself into and they knew it.
