The word "patriot" is offensive to the corporation that is the US by the Act of 1871, because it represents patriotism towards the original US that was a republic. The word "patriot" originates from the latin word "patria", which translates to "homeland, country". A corporation is not a country, because those two are legally distinct entities. Hence the word "patriot" is offensive to the corporation of US, because it doesn't represent support for the corporation.

It also has the root word "pater" in it -- father -- fatherland -- gasp, evil patriarchy!!!
But in our case it refers to the Founders... so this woman is cool with it.
SJW-types plaster signposts all over downtown of my city with Commie messages. 'Abolish the Patriarchy' is a popular one. I carry a Sharpie and every time I see one, I write "Who's Your Daddy!?"
