Anti-Aircraft?

Been hearing a lot of people on podcasts saying there are now anti-aircraft systems being deployed in DC? Anyone have sources on where this has originated from? I cant find anything.

I don't know specifics, but I know anti aircraft weapon systems are pretty standard defense considerations in DC ever since 9/11

SAMs are permanently placed throughout DC and the surrounding areas. They have been there for years. Some are sitting on rooftops. Wouldn't think much of it.

Look for tall buildings around the perimeter of D.C. and find which ones have a fiberglass hut or enclosure on the roof. Those have the SAMs. The White House has a 24/7 detail on roof with MANPADS.
