The kingdom of God is a mighty solace, and much more than that. Yes. The silver lining here will be, no more politics. It's done. More time for the kingdom. Which is how it should be anyways. But I would have loved a great awakening. If this is it, that is. Would be incredibly disapponting, but what can I do about it? The NT says to accept government, even if it's tyrannical, as long as it doesn't interfer with your worship and allegiance to God. God should come first, not state or politics. Especially if it's drowning in corruption. At least we now know just how corrupt it is.
