As Delaware Attorney General, Beau was involved in the 2008 arrest of Larry Sinclair on some petty theft charges at a press conference Sinclair was holding to tell the world he'd had sex and did cocaine with Obama back when Obama was a state senator in Illinois. Some believe this favor helped get Joe the VP job.
