Well done. I approve. I am sure you were hoping/waiting for that. :)
In seriousness, those folks are lovely and they make excellent whisky. Please go visit them when the world reopens. Great tour, great people, great countryside, and great whisky.
Others, in that style: The MacCallan, Aberlour, The Glenfiddich, Glenfarclas, The Balvenie (one of my favorites). Edradour (if you can find it!)
Similar and not-to-be-missed: The Dalwhinnie
Cheers to you. A lower priced whisky that is still in my view quite good of that style comes from another group of nice people at the Glen Moray (said "Glen Morrah") distillery. I don't think it will cause you to see flights of angels, but it's very good.
For "flights of angels", you are in good hands with The Glenlivet 18, and should go see about Glenfarclas, Glenfiddich, The MacCallan, etc.
The secret is in the name, mo chara. "Whisky". Whisky in my ancestors' tongue is uisge beathe. The Water of Life. We also call it the Drop of the Craythur. The Blood of the Creature. Or some say the Blood of the Creator.
