According to this article Obama picked the flag because it was the US flag when IL became a state. However. That flag has 20 stars, not 21 like the one flown.

I know....I am getting deep in the woods here. But just tell me why Biden chose the same flag as Obama or how it relates to Delaware and I'll move on. Haha
