Tom Brokaw retiring from NBC News after 55 years. Any info on him?

One piece of the puzzle that's still not coming together for me is how the media is going to crumble.

Anybody know if Brokaw had connections to Mockingbird or know where to start looking? A few minutes on regular searching came up completely empty.

Media already appear to me to just be propaganda arms for the wealthy.
