I have no doubt Congress was in on it, however being agreeable and knowledgeable are two separate issues. Most of Congress have no idea what is in the bills they vote for. They vote because that's what they are told to do.
In regard to the primary question as to why evidence of election fraud coming out mattering, the more truth comes to light the better. There is a reason why media frames it as without evidence without actually ever mentioning any of the claims. They fear the truth.
I was just exactly asking the same question, if they refused to hear the evidence who can we possibly go to? Provided the militaries in charge and has the evidence is what we've been told, I think that is the only final thing that we can count on, but still I do have that same question you're asking I want to know
I think the point is that so far, courts have all refused to actually review the evidence. If they take him to trial over impeachment, then they are forcing the court to allow discovery. This means Trump finally has the chance to lay it all out with the public seeing the evidence at last and then watching what the court does.
We are in an information war with the left. The more opportunities to expose the low info US pop to the truth, the better for the US to unify. If we can show how much we have all been lied too, the better for all.
It should allow for discovery in the case.
When arguing with anyone in front of people, you don't win by convincing that person you are right. You win by convincing the onlooking crowd.
You assume that Congress, let alone most people have any idea of the facts, which I'd argue is grossly incorrect.
