I remember a bunch of fake ass shills pretending to be have voted for him and "regretting" it right after he took office.

I do think there were people who were on the fence about him because of his big personality so maybe some weren't shills. Choosing to focus on and present the "other side" in a biased way is lamestream tactics though.
