I'm on Verizon FiOS in Boston and am still able to work. The internet is not down. There are outages, but I seriously doubt a "line cut" would cause what is happening. There are redundancies in place
This is the cover story for whatever is really happening.
So... not sure what is going on but my carrier for cell is not working well. Everyone sounds very far away and the phone is dropping calls. Not a problem with other carriers here though.

One fiber line affects that much region?
I was just going to say I don't know if I can trust any excuse we're given even if it is accurate, but one fiber? That smells fishy to me.
How many idiots are going to "accidentally" cut wires before we guess that there's something else going on.
One of those idiots could be the military trying to do an operation "silently"
Just like they had a major pipe burst so they had to stop counting...
So far things okay in my neck of the woods

Sorry if it's a stupid question, but could it be a result of bad weather?
