Edit: using -pass file:key -S "0F0BDA00F0359A0FC8" -P obviously shows the 8-byte salt, but just don't know what to do with that extra detail; iterate the salt somehow?

If I had a background in this stuff I’m sure it would be simple but Im as green as they come when it comes to encryption.
