I've been dabbling in planefag, and for the past several days I've noticed surveillance panes flying in circles over Oklahoma City.
Right now there is an E-3G Sentry, an E-6B Mercury, and two Beechcraft 350's over OKC. Over nearby Tulsa there is a Beech T-1A and an aircraft listed as N/A. These planes are doing surveillance, I assume. Why else would they fly around in circles for hours?
I remember reading something about Oklahoma City being the place where the first military tribunals would be held against the traitors...
E-6B and E-3 are homebased at Tinker. Very common for pilot training to circle the airfield or wider circles around Oklahoma. Watch the altitudes to confirm. When they climb and descend in repeated patterns, it's a training event. Gotta remember, military people only spend a couple to a few years assigned to a unit, so they most always have pilots and other skillsets at various points of qualification.
Ahh, that makes sense.
Thanks for clearing that up.
The big boys are a long way from home. The patterns the B350s are running resemble a surveillance track. All are ISR/SIGINT planes. Could be training. Maybe they are snooping. Key is to follow the news the next 2-3 days. That's a lot of air assets for a small target.
Tinker air force base in okc is one of the biggest in USA, and the only thing I read about okc is that trump and the governor or senator talked early on or something but I hope they are, Oklahoma is trump land
I have noticed this as well. My husband is getting annoyed with me because I’ve been watching patterns for a couple of days. Lol
