I was thinking that ... I see people's point about how they should have been prepared but don't we sort of operate under the assumption here that we need to be prepared because others probably won't?

I have a family of five and I'm prepped for 60 days/20 people.

Why?

Because the rest of the world doesn't see shit like we do. They will be unprepared and when the cousins and uncles and neighbors show up, they'll need help.

This dude is pissed because people are looking to him for answers but him and his administration got elected because they said they had the answers. It's his job to ensure his citizens are provided with the utilities they pay for.

From what I understand it's a power transmission problem, not a natural disaster, that is responsible for most of the outages. YES. The weather is the cause but not because of physical damage. The weather just made the inadequacy of the power grid noticeable.

Mother nature gave it a Pen Test and it failed.

He doesn't get to say, "quit being lazy" and quit.
