Fine. Millions of Texans that had electricity shut off fired up gasoline and diesel generators and burned huge amounts of wood in fireplaces, cooked over coal BBQ or propane stoves.
In trying to save emmissions, they resulted in about 3X the amount of emissions.
Seems to me most of the problems we are seeing here are from the Federal level and controlled by the "fake" administration. As soon as a emergency / disaster declaration was declared, the EPA and DOE stuff should get shoved right out the window. This is beyond ridiculous!!!!!!!!!
I tried telling people. This WHOLE thing is a lie. The forced power outages could have done daytime only if needed, but, Biden's team forced restrictions and the need for outside power.

Texas does own some of the blame, the Governor's Office and Railroad Commission, other Legislators, yeah. But Texas suffers from over-regulation, we always have, we're still under various forms of 'Reconstruction' here. Federal courts and regulations are more onerous on us than other States and Agendas are forced on us.
Like wind turbines, many of which are on chinese owned farms and which have wiggled onto our electrical grid despite our best efforts to keep them out. chinese bribes and Deep State Agendas have forced us to cut back on natural gas and coal plants while allowing chinese wind turbines and chinese transformers to populate in their stead.
For the most part ERCOT would overwhelmingly prefer gas and coal power, plus nukes, over wind or solar. Because like all of us down here in energy we know wind and solar cannot be reliable or efficient. ERCOT merely manages what Texas gives them to operate, the Feds restrict how we may do that. But it isn't within ERCOT's power to cause capacity to be on the grid, that's State and Federal elected officials who own that permitting and regulation. Texas has consistently preferred gas and coal, the Feds forced this chinese wind.
If we had no Federal regulation this would not have happened and there would not be chinese wind farms here and no missing gas/coal power plants.
And guess what, it's gonna get nothing but worse unless we arrest this fraudulent double damned Deep State government.
