Why has fauci been portrayed as the head of the NIH when he is not? He is the head of the NIAID (national institute of allergy and infectious disease) which appears to be a branch of NIH..

Another thought, why are allergies and infectious disease under one umbrella? Are allergies caused by infectious disease or vis versa? I know what causes allergies and infectious disease which is why I find it interesting that they are under the same umbrella..Sorry, random thought..
