I'm convinced that, while Ebola is more deadly than your average plague, it's virulence is wildly overstated. During the West African outbreak, way more people should have died, but curiously didn't. Apparently a lot of people had immunities, and keeping ahead of dehydration and salt-deficiency saves most victims.
