It needs to be on the original poster to verify if something is real or not before they post it. However, I don't think this is remotely real, since Scavino posts from Twitter, and hasn't posted anything since before CPAC.
It really oughta be two-strikes-and-you're-out for clowns posting false reports from fake sources. A little responsibility and accountability would go a long way towards cleaning up this place. Making this site less unserious would not make it less fun, but more fun... and less embarrassingly embracing of false info.
