Unfortunately a "hack" usually precedes major theft, could be evidence?

In the case of WA state Employment Security Department it was the theft of hundreds of millions "lost" to "Nigerian hackers". Biden was so proud of that hack he summoned our very best to help rob American taxpayers at the Federal level.

Could be, but my guess is that black hats have been using it all this time, and now disclosing the "hack" ensures the back doors are closed and black hats wont have access any more.
