I highly doubt Lindell, a pillow salesman, would have just dipped his toes into the social media market on a whim. I'm certain he has backing, and his access to the President indicates to me they are helping him design it in some capacity -- why wouldn't they?

4 years? I don't know jack shit about technology but that seems like a long time to not have a beta version out there or something.
So, either A he is lying/exaggerating or B it has been a top-secret project with military backing.
If it is only just another capital venture then the backers not seeing anything for 4 years doesn't seem like a good investment plan.
