THat said, I was born and lived in CA my entire life until 3 years ago. Moved right to the middle of the country, where I felt it was safest. Most of all, I wanted to live around like minded people.
Gotta ask 2 things. 1: Age range? 2: What are your general feelings about it? What do you miss? Any regrets?

Moved my wife and kids, late 30s, were in 40s now.
Best thing i ever did, especially for the kids.
Compete turn around in behavior, grades, everything. They are much happier. We at too.
Paid mostly cash for an amazing custom lakefront home. Have property. No permits needed for guns. Open or conceal. People are way nicer. No traffic. List goes on and on.
Life changing.
Only thing i miss a little is being able to drive to beach. But living with our own lake front beach more than makes up for it.
We're on table rock near the branson mo area.
Tons to do here cause it's a vacation destination.
