My dad emailed me this with the title "Great Question". One of the better ways to break the ice with normies I've seen so far. Here it is (in quotes):
"If you catch 100 red fire ants as well as 100 large black ants, and put them in a jar, at first, nothing will happen. However, if you violently shake the jar and dump them back on the ground the ants will fight until they eventually kill each other. The thing is, the red ants think the black ants are the enemy and vice versa, when in reality, the real enemy is the person who shook the jar. This is exactly what’s happening in society today. Liberal vs. Conservative. Black vs. White. Pro Mask vs. Anti-Mask. The real question we need to be asking ourselves is who’s shaking the jar … and why?"
Here's another good one for those who are pro Obama Care. "If Obama Care was supposed to lower rates by getting everyone insured so that insured are not paying for uninsured then how does that work with flipping uninsured illegals flooding in and getting care in our hospitals" posed this question to a CNN-head at work, he admitted that those two policies are incompatible.
Ok ok so for simplicity ignore the fact that Obama Care selling points were lies.
"uninsured/unable to pay Americans are costing insured/able to pay Americans more money because hospitals have to get the money for caring for uninsured/unable to pay from somewhere."
Therefore: flooding the country with uninsured/unable to pay people who also require healthcare sort of negates the above argument. To your point they don't get free heath care in the sense that there is some sort of like extra benefit they have but just like everyone else that Obama was talking about hospitals cannot turn you away. So if you took the selling point as truth then we are back to paying for uncovered and unable to pay people. So its actually a problem that they don't get signed up for Obamacare as soon as they come over (sorry Obamacare is indeed one word) because the Obamacare argument says everyone needs to be insured for this to work.
