I live in the Deep South, where our governor has lifted the mandate, and I’m still one of the only ones if not THE only one not wearing a mask when I shop. I won’t even go into Walmart without one as I was chased by a security guard going in and out last year. So I wear it below my chin there.
It boggles my mind how so many people wear them religiously and I see even more now alone in their cars wearing them. What’s even more hilarious is the bathrooms are still dirty at most places... and everyone is touching the nasty screenpads for transactions... clown world
Yeah they kind of leave you alone if you wear it below the chin...not sure why.
As an aside....one of my work colleagues bragged...that she reported a woman to the grocers management ...for daring to take down her mask to readjust it.
Keep in mind that this uber-Karen wears her facemask for our work Zoom meetings. And upper management is terrified of her...she takes everything to Labour Standards and Human Rights...always has.
Fr Ripperger had said that COVID didn't make people mentally ill, it REVEALED them.
I agree 100%
Bullies are often the most insecure people in the bunch. Something "not good" years ago may have made her feel helpless or insignificant and may have really messed her up. The bullying and virtue-signalling probably makes her feel like she's in control of "something" (i.e., not helpless) and/or like she's worth something. Unfortunately, society has to put up with these damaged people. Good luck, fren.
So true. I think Covid allowed a lot of people to play into their own personal fears and weaknesses and brought out the worst of their mental illnesses. And obviously it turned regular Karens into everyday raging nightmare Uber-Karens as you said.
