It must have been very hard for your daughter to 'switch' sides. Democrats in positions of power are extremely vicious, and will test your 'loyalty constantly'. It will wore you down to the point where you either get out or accept it. You literally can never be close to any 'democrat friends' because conformity is a condition for deep friendship. Hiding your true thoughts and lying is also no way to build relationships.

Truth is, plenty of liberal are seemingly great people and compassionate. And when favors are exchanged things get harder and harder to resist, politics becomes less important than people it'd seem. Liberals don't all agree with Pelosi either, but like Trump said, Cohesion is one of the traits the democrats are great at. So they offer you differing opinions on some things, but none when it comes to stuff like BLM.

So when it comes to your daughter she may have had to made a choice between her current friends and career and the bond you both had since childhood. And the easiest thing you can do is to let her know she has both. That she doesn't have to see things through similar lens as you do, but she should tell you things she see through her lens/views without fear of reproach. Emphasis on LENS, because it's not her, it's lens given to us, and we can swap them.

Swap lens, see a normal person as thin, then fat, then alien. Vaccines can be good, can be bad, for profit, made not patented by Jonas Salk. Really understand each other and what you are looking at. Politics were originally tools for growing a town, city, and country. It used to be about preference second, effectiveness first. Now it's the opposite. Vaccines used to be medicine, now it's a business for profit! Bill Gates on his 20 to 1 profits!

Notice all the fluff Billy say, 20 to 1!! at 1:27 then 1:55,17 billions vs 200 billions $.

Using politics to understand life is like using a fork to eat soup. It's the wrong tool. Politics is a precise instrument to get things done. To understand people's beliefs you need a spoon, to hold their life and experience and drink them. She should understand that Liberal, like Conservative, lens are for you to use the fork, to enable precise change. Yet Democrat pretend/lie that it is also a spoon that helps you understand BLM LGQT and etc. Understanding and compassion has nothing to do with politics. Those things are separate!

So when you visualize things as lens, some things do not morph too much, some like night and day. But tell her that she can wear her lens as much as she likes, but remember they are lens. And still try your lens some times too, it's what open minded means!
