I'd guess it's because they are long articles and because a lot of comms based decodes are difficult to grasp without a lot of reading.

I occasionally try to post some snippets from these decodes in a palatable way, but even that is hit or miss.

Yes, I agree. The "awakened" can only stay awake long enough to read 3 paragraphs before being distracted by the next shiney snippet.
