I may sound cheezy... but it works... pellet guns made by sig function like the real thing... co2 cartridges and pellets are available... is it exactly the same... no... but fundamentals are fundamentals... sight alignment... sight picture... and trigger squeeze are all tested using this low cost alternative... check around..
That requires buying a separate (pellet) gun. How about those laser bullet target practice things. I don't have one yet, but I have been looking at them. Would that not be an effective way to practice my draw, trigger pull and accuracy with out expending led gold?
They are good... couple of issues I've had are the the cheaper ones seat deep in the chamber and the firing pin / striker sometimes fails to contact the actuator.. also consider the speed of the laser is faster than that of a bullet or pellet... meaning you may not pick some of your trigger errors... check out SRT training pistols as well...
