I do talk politics at people quite often. I want them to know that there are alternative facts, views and interpretations out there. Sometimes, they are not even aware that there are other views.
I don't get any thanks for it though, people find thinking out of the mainstream very uncomfortable. It's a social fitness thing I think. They lose kudos for believing anything unapproved of by their crowd.
My partner is like yours. I mention vaccine stuff to her because I want her to reconsider or delay taking the "vaccine". Her long term health is more important than her current feelings or whether she likes me these days.
