The chairman of the Suez Canal has NOT passed away!
?? Theory ??
He spoke 8 hours ago, but apparently died 2 days ago. Please, please, no unverified news. Makes us look so bad. You can check this out for yourself on the facebook link that has been provided on the stickied post. You could do more research but this in itself is sufficient.

Except one needs facebook to view the article.
It's not even an article, it's a post by someone who runs the facebook page. But you're right though, had this been real news, it would have been on some news media outlet. And Facebook is NOT source, we agree on that.
Facebook is gay tho. So I agree. Why use facebook?
Why does anyone use FaceCrap or share FaceCrap info?
And it is still stickied...!
So going to OP link at facebook & clicking translation it says...
With great sadness, the team mourns | Osama Rabea, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and the group of its staff and companies, Mr. General A. H / Samah Qandil, the advisor of Mr. Team, Chairman of the Suez Canal Security Authority and former Governor of Port Said, who passed away this morning, invoking the Lord Almighty to bless him with his mercy, dwell in his spacious paradise and inspire his honorable family patience and solace.
Except the photo is not Osama Rabea, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, the wording is very confusing. Are they saying Samah Qandil is the one that passed away?
Yes, but bear in mind that it is a translation. And he spoke 8 hours ago... But nonetheless, let's say the "team mourns", then the team mourns who? Rabea, A.H, Qandil, etc? Or are they the team? I don't read Arabic, but I know Rabie is not the man on the picture in any case, and he spoke a few hours ago.
Right, I just looked on the internet and that picture is not Osama Rabea...so who know who they are mourning. I think it was an innocent mistake though, it's what I thought at first.
Probably an innocent mistake, but an innocent mistake that gets stickied is something else. We know we have to double check information.
