It is like that because of compliance. I don't suggest struggling or going where not welcome. If everyone were aware 1. masks do not help 2. you do not have to wear them (you have a medical reason, everyone does) THEN the bars in Vegas would be empty where they insisted on masks. The staff would object, etc..
