Um thanks for the zen thoughts.... but I've just watched people who wear them get zombie-fied in this way. It just sounds sort of creepy, every time.
Because it's something illicit being done to them, not their choice. If someone forced weird wooden shoes on my feet, I wouldn't think of them as 'my' shoes.
Do we talk inclusively about 'our' illegal aliens? (except for Democrat/globalist/colluder-speak?) It's largely Soros et al's illegal aliens. The Resident is not 'my president'.
So language is potent for mental freedom. Their masks don't deserve any possessive pronouns.
If anything, they could be thought of as 'Their' masks - at all times.
