Amazingly, #5 this week. I'm more a fan of some of the comments about it:

I have nothing but disdain for an individual that would make copious excuses for aberrant behavior. The whole truth about the President's son has never been disclosed by our media and continues to be covered up by law enforcement agencies. This book is a sham.

If your low in toilet paper this is a great book. Or if you want to become a drug addict or adulter it does have some helpful tips. Otherwise it was not a good read.

The thing that really says it all about POOR POOR HUNTER what about the son who he does not recognize because he was conceived in drunken pill driven orgies....what will happen to this little boy......how will he turn out being treated like a non entity of a spoiled mans entitlement....Joe spoiled this boy child and let him do as he wants and says how proud he is of him.......well I am proud not to have Hunter as a son

Aside from the fact that the book is full of lies, Hunter has FIVE children not 4. And he most certainly DID remember the 5ths child’s mother( for months he snuck her in his office). That poor baby girl is gonna read this crap one day. Shame on the ENTIRE BIden family that is ok with this vile garbage.

And the inevitable counterpoint from the deluded:

"Where's Hunter?" the former President asked to rouse a crowd. Well, you can find him in this rather remarkable memoir that I just couldn't put down. And here's one of the reasons: I have known, including a close family member, people who are addicted to drugs/alcohol. Far too many died young while others lived without making any efforts to get help. My family member has been successful for which I am thankful. Let me also be clear: I just plain have a great admiration of our current president including some of his famous statements including my favorite: that he's known 8 presidents, three intimately. "Beautiful Things: A Memoir" is not about asking any reader to feel sorry for the author. He acknowledges his addictions and the pain he has caused others. Instead the reader is given an opportunity to view this family from a perspective that one doesn't get in other about-Joe Biden books. Of course I expected to see one-star "reviews" because there has been such rage vented on this man, all politically motivated. So if you would like to know more about a man who has fought his addiction, who has been supported by this remarkable family, who is contrite about the harm he has done to others, then this is a memoir you will want to read and maybe pass on to others as I expect to do.
