I would imagine that the Cabal has infiltrated their voting systems also and it doesn't matter what the people vote for.

It is no longer possible for me to excited about a political candidate, because we had the best candidate ever. He won in a landslide and the stole it from him, and nobody would do anything about it.

So it seems pointless to care now. What happens if Mr. Fox wins is hugely popular but somehow loses the election to somebody everybody hates?

Nothing.
