I prefer it when rabid dogs are just taken out back and shot, no fuss no mess and then we can go about our lives in peace.

Agreed - their reign of terror needs to end quickly. There are many patriots in harms way and rabid dogs do not discern who they attack; they just attack anyone and everyone. Quick effective justice is the least harmful path.
