No. Given the fact the crown prince was rather vocal about anti-corruption and modernization. It was rather expected he’d crackdown on his corrupt family members.

Only thing remotely shocking about the whole affair is the fact a PMC was used in place of Saudi Military to actually guard and interrogate the prisoners.
