So here's a question many of us have. Let's say you want to start getting the message out there, but you aren't already a social media star/influencer and you don't have a following of people. What techniques can you use to build an audience that will reach people? Which ones are free, which ones are very inexpensive, and which ones actually work? Is there anyone out there who has built a large social media following and can offer some free advice to those of us who would like to promote the message, but don't know how to establish an audience?
And I am speaking of the average person here. Not a beautiful woman who can get 1 million followers just by posting pictures of her lunch.
I don't think it is particularly helps to just keep rehashing the same message to those of us who are already awake. The beauty of a community is dissensus. Disparate viewpoints allow a central, unifying theme to spread to a much wider audience than a monolithic cult. So this strategy would probably mean using Yucktube and Fakebook as a medium. That is where the uninformed still tend to hangout.
Most excellent questions. I am about to read the replies thoroughly.
