They murdered people with extreme overdoses of HCQ in order to write a paper that portrayed HCQ as dangerous and ineffective.

Why did they do this?

Because their Great Reset Plans depend on fear of the virus.

HCQ is cheap and plentiful. The treatment could have prevented most deaths.
If HCQ got the emergency wavier from the FDA, then the vaccine couldn't have also gotten an emergency wavier.
They want the vaccine so they can make a vaxx-pass to deny access to travel, shopping, and eventually banking and other activities to the red-pilled. Later to be morphed into a general Chinese-like social score.
They want to make a fuck-ton of money by transferring cash from health insurers to big pharma. Who pays for the health care costs? Us.

No, It's because if they want to put emergency use authorization on vaccines there can't be a working treatment.

This guy nailed it. I’ll reiterate: If there is a working treatment for a disease you cannot get emergency use authorization for an experimental vaccine.
