Living in the Northern Virginia area.... We have a one year old child and the doctor we have been taking our child to has informed us that they will no longer see our child because of “vaccine denial”.
They tell us that the CDC recommends certain vaccines and that if we don’t give them to our child then they won’t be able to see him anymore. Well then it’s no longer a recommendation, it’s a requirement.
We aren’t anti vaccine parents necessarily, but we are worried about them and especially getting them during the covid vaccine times.
Does anyone know a good doctor in the NOVA area that won’t push us to do things and will honestly talk to us about why vaccines are actually good?
Thanks in advance.
Yeah time to change doctors for sure, hope you find a great based doctor! I'm glad my kids are grown, but worry about my grandkids. Thankfully I doubt that my daughter will make her kids take the shot, she said non of the family was. Hope she stays with that and doesn't get talked into it.
Oh I won’t ever make my kids take the covid vaccine. I’m more talking about the ones we’ve all had to take over the last 50-60 years like MMR, polio DRT or whatever.
Part of it is the worry that people are just not really qualified in their work like they use to be. We could open up a whole mountain of rabbit holes on that subject but what if because of all the covid vaccine hysteria that they give our kid the wrong shot or something?!
They’re just trying to demand we do it right now and we are thinking it’s not really all that necessary.
