This is what I've been doing and it's great. Their responses to it are always hilarious.

I did actually have covid, it wasn't that bad, and I have told mask nazis about it. They don't care. They really don't. They say "wear the mask anyway!" They say "you can catch it again!" Even though the chance of catching it twice is less than 1%, and I tell them that. They still say "we don't care, put on the mask!" They're literally THAT brainwashed. They don't care about truth or facts anymore, only their fee-fees.
I’ve said, “I’m not sick therefor I don’t need a mask.” And keep it moving.
Same. Whole family had it. I was down for 4 days. Felt like a bad flue. Had steroids and antibiotics. I got better. Stories over.
They still get grumpy about it.
If I want to shop there and an employee says mask or leave, I'll mask (this is America, they are a privately owned business, it is their eight to be stupid). If I can get elsewhere or go without, I tell em they lost business and I'm telling all my friends and family not to shop there, then leave.
That is why many businesses went out during covid. We shopped at a lot of places to support them, and many we did not, to not support them.
I had it and I tell 'em. The only response I get is "prove it!"
I had it in January 2020, before testing was available (even supposing that testing even works).
