Well, I know these platforms are run by corrupt Oligarchs and love to steal my data and sell it to the highest bidder, probably the Chinese... BUT, You don't expect me to give up my social media, do you? How else will I tell someone they're wrong, politically? To their face? Twitter and Facebook give me the perfect opportunity to be passive aggressive to strangers and to thumb up those introspective posts from my friends that I'll forget 5 seconds later. I'll make some more memes and pretend like I am outraged. That usually helps me sleep at night.

64%? Were the Democrats polling dead people again? Bet it's an age related thing. I'd guess those over 45 would say yes 80%+ Those younger would probably 50% but for not the same reasons. Older people would say yes they're a problem because of censoring, political bias, etc. With younger people they'd probably think they were a problem because they use an ancient interface, those sites are old school, they like TikTok better.
