First, I had a friend that I knew pass away on the morning of the 9th from Brain hemmorhage. Incidentally, that person took the vaccine on the 4th.
I've been telling my circle of friends that there's more than meets the eye in the vaccine but they're going forth to take it anyway.
To be clear: I don't have a problem with people taking it, but the number of people who are completely blind to statistics and facts and going ahead to take a risk with their lives over a vaccine confounds me.
The media has basically equated the vaccine with a lower rate of death than COVID. But the rate of death of COVID doesn't take into account the chance of you getting it. Where I live, only 2.5% of the population has caught it, multiplied by the .002% death rate for my age group means that the chances of getting something serious from the vaccine is much higher than COVID
Why are people fucking stupid?!?!
My uncle was maimed for life 3 days later after taking his second shot (moderns blood clots and stroke).
The health industry is sweeping this all under the rug for their free cash handouts so there is no telling how bad the rejection rates are, but I can tell you it's alot worse than what they're reporting.
They all think this is a normal "vaccine" and that the only way to get back to normal is for enough people to get the "vaccine"
Agree....My son (21 yo) says no to the shot, but says all his friends think it's just a vaccine, a usual vaccine. They're getting it, even though in my son's own way he's saying, no way, don't get that shot! He had not seen the videos of the people with adverse neurologic effects. So I think a lot of the young adults just aren't aware of any of it. They usually don't watch tv, and are in their own world, and do what others do or are urged by their parents.
Right the ones I talked to are not anti-vaxxers so to them it's like why not.
Prob never going back to the old normal either way. If DS wins not going back to old normal ever. And if good guys win new normal will be different than old normal hopefully in a much better way
Why are people fucking stupid?!?!
Perhaps the answer is 42.
Lots of people confuse confuse “conditional probability”. The .002% death rate is conditional given that you catch it. i.e.100% that you caught it which is of course not the case. And that’s not taking into account any smart mitigation strategies such as taking vitamins staying healthy weight as presumably 95% of the .002% either had vitamin deficiencies or comorbitities present. So if you don’t have that then you could say you have 5%x.002% IF you catch it. And then chance that you catch it is 2.5% let’s say if even so then it would be 5%x.002%x2.5%
So if you get down to that level, then it starts to def not make sense to take a vaccine with at least same or more % chance of adverse reactions. And then factor in that makers are immune from suits then WTF why would you want to ever take that vax, right?
Now I know why they want the population to be dumb, so they can be tricked with numbers.
I'm holding onto the hope that, because Trump pushed it out, it would be the zombie maker it's thought to be....
Same here. Some people just believe what they hear from the media and research nothing. Brainwashing since childhood works on some.
The danger of covid is not death, it's permanent organ damage. (You don't want to lose lung capacity, have scarred organs, etc)
*If you aren't acknowledging the primary danger of covid, then you aren't presenting a balanced argument.
I think not catching the virus is better than betting your life on someone else's invention.
You can pick your own risk-management approach, and I respect it because this is America.
But it is poor persuasion if you fail to acknowledge the primary risk of Covid. (That's all I'm saying)
You make a fair point.
The question is what the percentages are.
I agree that the percentages are up for debate.
*And it doesn't help when the CDC had destroyed its credibility over the past year.
I dont care about percentages, odds of what might happen. With my luck I'll have a bad reaction. I'm not taking chances with my kids' life either. What if your only child was the 1 in 10,000 or so? Is it worth it?
You'd have similar odds of your child dying in a car crash, so maybe you shouldn't drive.
Is it worth it?
Most people need strong painkillers and a night in a cool dark room if an actual thought passes through their head.....
