Going to Cancun for vacation June 3rd. No test to leave states but test required to re-enter. Anybody familiar with testing done in other countries? Same as here? False positives, using same nose jab? Can you ask for spit test? Not getting tested here for anything but have to in Mexico to come back. I would stay in Cancun forever if I could!!!

Testing is inconvenient and rationed to keep the compliant compliant and the fearful fearful.
My son and his fiance had to test negative 48 hours before they left the states, and again 48 hours before they left Cabo. Conveniently, the hotel in Cabo administered the test.
Eek! Just watch out for the anal swabs!
About half the world’s population swabs the anus. How do you?
I prefer to do my own swabbing that is for sure!
All tests are fraudulent. None of them can diagnose for Covid.
It is a roll of the dice.
As far as sticking things up your nose, a lot of speculation that those are tainted in some way.
Mexico might be fun, but coming back into the police state won't be.
I’m surprised you don’t have to have one to enter Cancun. My niece had to get one to enter St. Thomas, and that had to be within 72 hours. I’m going to Hawaii end of this month. Covid ID test required negative or have to be quarantined 10 days when entering. They also have a list of designated testing site, and it is very limited. Almost could not find one in my area. Then, you can’t make an appt till a couple of days before, and it has to be hand delivered 72 hours to Hawaii upon entering.
St. Thomas and Hawaii are both part of the US.
Mexico is not.
Why are you surprised?
I think hotels have testing stations open.
