It’s odd in Ireland. People just shrug, and in some parts of the country just ignore the regulations, moan a bit, but don’t fight against them either.

Some parts of the country believe everything on the telievision.

Some people are fighting it. But most doctors seem to genuinely believe this. The health service has been creaking along for years with worn out staff so there’s a mixture of Stockholm syndrome and just not critically thinking any more.

Then the politicians, media are spreading the message like crazy. With various academics talking shite.

The latest scare-story today was about maternal/foetal COVID causing autism.

Government is voting to extend restrictions to November. By which time we’ll be getting the usual autumn/winter coughs and colds back.
