If you do the right thing you face 'death threats' from the evil doers for not doing the wrong thing. If you do the wrong thing you face 'death threats' from the good people for not doing the right thing.

Hobbs only wants this to stop when people are doing the wrong thing, and seems to be oblivious to the people who want to do the right thing.
