That’s the reason why you should always have a local supplier of meat and produce. And by local, I don’t mean Safeway, Albertsons or Kroeger. If you can hunt or fish, even better. Centralizing our food supply into a few huge manufacturers and producers was never a good idea! It’s too easy to disrupt the supply. But that was always the plan anyway.
