Carcinogenic substances are included in quite a few things used frequently in the West.

Foods, Medication, Modern plastics, Oils, Paint, Cleaners, Clothes, Toothpaste etc. So on and so forth.

Hell. We were probably exposed to Carcinogens in High-school Chemistry and are none the wiser.
