Seems like evil is rapidly climbing to its peak. People I know with their vices are either reaching its fullest potential or trying really hard to fight the evil. For example, more divorce, drug use.
For me myself past sins are creeping up and becoming more blatantly in my face. Like temptation presented to me on a silver platter.
Are any of you all experiencing this? Of course I cannot even think about defeating any evil without my Lord and Savior. I hope you all are alright. The battlefield of good and evil is on our souls.
Sorry for your struggles, Fren. I'm experiencing the opposite - the battle lines are clearer than ever and it is becoming increasingly easier for me to face my own personal vices and to defeat them.

Agreed. Well put.
It's reaching a peak as far as we can understand it... thinking about it, evil has a lot more ways to go IMO
I really suggest believers read 1st Peter everyday for a little while.. the encouragements and exhortations are not only refreshing, but arm the child of God.. the enemy, since it can't take away our salvation, will do everything in its power to render the believer useless.
Grace to your spirit!!
I hear you. I've struggled with how to deal with past sins as well. Acknowledging them is the first step to set you on the right path. Personally, I still struggle with blurriness when it comes to choosing direction if there is a fork in the road (which can leave me stuck/paralyzed), BUT - it's become very clear to me if I'm heading backwards on the path. Don't cede ground to evil - advance towards the good, or at least hold the line.
Satan wants you to give up. That turd is the one who keeps reminding you of how you were. We all have sin and we can choose to continue to live in it or ask for God's grace and forgiveness through his son for it.
Easier said than done sometimes, I know.
Once your sins have been forgiven; they are forgiven. But don't keep any of the little thoughtless ones. Ask God for forgiveness of all of your sins, even the ones you can NOT remember. We don't want to hold on to any of them. But when God promises you Eternal Life for the forgiveness of your sins through his son Jesus Christ, then you are Permanently SAVED. God doesn't take something back once he's given it to you. You are fine. We all have our pitfalls in life. God is there. He will walk with you and protect you. Praise him and bless his name.
